Location data: with your permission, we collect precise or approximate location to enable location-based features (community feed, geofencing, nearby services).

Device & usage data: device identifiers (Android Advertising ID), IP address, app version, crash reports, and usage analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide app features: community posts, messaging, job listings, rishta, marketplace, etc.
• Serve relevant ads via Google AdMob
• Send OTP verification emails and service notifications
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and policy violations
• Improve app performance and fix bugs

4. Advertising & Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID and usage data to show personalized ads. You can opt out in device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation).

We may also use third-party services for analytics (Firebase Analytics) and cloud storage (Cloudinary for images). Each provider has its own privacy policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data:

• With service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, email, analytics)

We use industry-standard measures (HTTPS, hashed passwords, JWT authentication) to protect your data. No method is 100% secure.

9. Children

NewShahkotApp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
